The Blazers: Reminisce, Live in Concert at the Historic Church CD
In October 2010, this St. Michael based band performed live at the Historic Church of St. Michael. From this concert they produced an album of 27 songs, released in December 2010, spanning the genres of music, from old time, like Beer Barrel Polka to Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline. This original band has been together since 1965. In the album they include anecdotes and lighthearted stories of some of their experiences over the past 47 years. The band consists of Sheldon Barthel, guitar and vocals; Arlyn Koecher, accordion and vocals; Meiny Daleiden, trumpet and vocals; and Tim Dalbec, percussion.
The album is available for sale at $15, sales tax included, plus $5.60 for shipping and handling. If you live in the area and wish to save the shipping and handling charges, call the number listed below and arrangements can be made for your pickup or our delivery. Fifty percent of the net proceeds from the album sale will go to the St. Michael Historical Society for their operational fund.
